When should I schedule my newborn portraits?It's best to book your newborn session during your pregnancy, ideally in your second or third trimester. This allows us to reserve a spot around your due date. Newborn sessions are typically done within the first 7-14 days of birth when babies are still very sleepy and curly. Please reach out to us within the first 48 hours so we can schedule a definite date for your newborn portraits.

How do I book a newborn portrait session?You can send an email to jenniferrodriguezphotography@outlook.com. You can also fill out the Contact Form located in the Contact tab on my website, and I will reach out to you. You are considered booked and your date is reserved for your session once you have paid your non-refundable half down retainer. The remaining balance will be due 1 week prior to your scheduled session date. Services will not be rendered without complete payment.

When are newborn sessions scheduled?Newborn sessions are scheduled during the weekdays at 10am.

What should I bring to the session?You only need to bring the essentials for your baby—diapers, wipes, bottles if you're using formula, and a pacifier if your baby takes one. I provide everything else, including wraps, outfits, headbands, bonnets and props. I also have a client wardrobe with beautiful, gowns for moms. I even provide little snacks and drinks to snack on while you wait for your session to finish.

Where do newborn sessions take place?Sessions take place in my cozy home studio, where I have all the props, wraps, and accessories needed. It’s a calm and warm environment designed to make both you and your baby feel comfortable.

How long does a newborn session take?Newborn sessions usually last around 3-4 hours. This allows plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and posing to ensure a relaxed and comfortable experience for you and your baby.

What if my baby arrives earlier or later than expected?No problem at all! Since babies rarely arrive on their due dates, I always keep flexibility in my schedule. Once your baby is born, simply reach out to me within the first few days, and we’ll finalize your session date.

I've missed the newborn window, and my baby is now 2 months old. Do you still take them?Yes, of course. I photograph babies of any age. Your baby is no longer a newborn. However, you can still book a session. Please understand that your baby most likely will not be able to do newborn poses or wraps and they are usually awake. Nonetheless, you won't regret capturing your baby regardless of their age. They are only this little once. Let's capture all those tiny details!
